Overriding the format of the Description field

Because the HTML text comes through as it is formatted it is very mixed, dependent on what TFS is storing. So there is a mix of fonts between different tickets due to different users populating the tickets (through cut and paste from varied sources etc).

This makes the document that compiles the work items look less than slick.

Can you tell me if it is possible to override the formatting of the Description field? The end result is that i want all the text from the Description field to be in the paragraph font of the final document.

We're on TFS 2012 and Word 2010.

Unfortunately there is no feature to do this, sorry. All I can suggest is that you format it after import, although I understand that this is not a nice solution.

OK, thanks.

I'll work around the problem by formatting the descriptions in the TFS work items consistently, before import. That way I only need to change them once.
